Patricia Popławska’s CLARENA Foundation
The idea to set up a foundation was born in December 2008 on the initiative of CLARENA President, Patricia Popławska. The motivation to set up the organization was found in the personal experience of the founder. – We live in a world which is merciful, but only to those who are beautiful, rich and strong – However, if something goes badly along the way, if too many burdens, health problems, or other adversities cause us to stop coping, we, and above all women, are left alone. It is all the more difficult for women, as we are often responsible not only for ourselves, but also for our children – says Patricia Popławska . CLARENA’a president is mother to five children. She has achieved success, but always remembers that life has not always gone as she would have liked. Now that she has found harmony and happiness, she has set about to help other women in need of support.
On 9 March 2010 the foundation was registered by the Regional Court for Wrocław - Fabryczna. The primary area of activity for the foundation is charity work for single mothers. The foundation took into its care the Single Mother’s Shelter in Wrocław.
