Our Formulas

The Poplawska Group Laboratory is the heart of our research activity. This is where cosmetic raw materials, new formulas and technologies are created, which end up in professional salons and Clarena products. We work in R&D standards, relying on facts, testing and innovation.

Who we are

Poplawska Laboratories is a modern research and development center that has been supporting the beauty industry in Poland and abroad for years. Our foundation is science — we start each project with the analysis of active ingredients and their mechanisms of action.

We create formulas from scratch: from the synthesis of substances, through tests of effectiveness
and safety, right up to implementation into production. Thanks to this, we know not only how to create, but also how to apply and recommend our solutions in practice.

What we do

Laboratorium Poplawska Group operates primarily for the needs of the Clarena brand — it is here that recipes of professional cosmetics, supplements and innovative care formulas are created.

We create formulas from scratch: from the synthesis of substances, through tests of effectiveness
and safety, right up to implementation into production. Thanks to this, we know not only how to create, but also how to apply and recommend our solutions in practice.

At the same time, as R&D experts, we also provide services for other cosmetic and pharmaceutical brands:

Synthesis and research of active ingredients

BHA acid with keratolytic and antiseptic properties. It penetrates through the sebum layer and penetrates deep into the hair follicles, effectively reducing blackheads and acne lesions. It has an anti-inflammatory effect, exfoliates dead cells and smoothes the structure of the skin.

Tranexamic acid is known for its effectiveness in reducing skin discoloration, especially those related to acne, the sun or the aging process. It relieves inflammation of the skin, which is beneficial for people with acne or other skin problems.

Natural ingredient NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor). It increases the production of collagen and elastin, intensively moisturizes and supports the exfoliation of dead skin cells. It has an antibacterial effect and improves the smoothness of the skin.

Exfoliation

It has strong exfoliating properties. Stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen, glycosaminoglycans and elastin, which leads to thinning wrinkles and improving skin properties. It breaks down the remaining horny masses in the hair follicles, inhibiting the development of acne.

Azelaic acid has many properties, thanks to which it effectively eliminates acne and hyperpigmentation. It is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and removes free radicals. Azelaic acid also has mild exfoliating properties, helping to remove dead skin cells and reduce skin changes such as blemishes or acne scars.
